About Taiwo Orbs
I have long recognised that the power of the right words can serve as a tool for core persuasion in our world, rather than for harm.
All I knew was that I loved to write
I had the passion to guide people into doing the right thing through a careful selection of words, first in the article pages of my school campus newsletter.
Even from my earliest days in college I knew this: the showcase of value, and the correct and careful selection of words, are second to none in moving people from an emotional state to the exact decision you want them to make logically.
Today I am on a mission to train young people to select the right phrases to achieve enhanced visibility for eventual leadership, persuasion and conversion. That is why in 2021 I launched The OrbsUp Africa, a school of personal development, leadership, life principles, business and mindset shift.
My goal is to set your feet on how the right selection of words can build profitable visibility, enhanced leadership, and spread hopeful stories in the world.

Get to know me better
Eleven small, true things.
- 01 Taiwo Orbs is the name I use across all my social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
- 02 The “Orbs” in my name means light. In Hebrew, “Ohr” translates to light, and it can also be pronounced as Orbs.
- 03 I joined Facebook in 2011. My first Yahoo email address was created by a friend at a cyber cafe because my Nokia 2626 couldn't load the Facebook website properly.
- 04 Let's just say I've had a few crushes on Facebook over the years, and maybe someday I'll get to meet some of them.
- 05 You might not enjoy watching movies with me. I have a habit of pausing to write down notable quotes and phrases.
- 06 I prefer moderate temperatures over extreme cold.
- 07 My tea time is any time. Hot weather doesn't stop me enjoying a cup of tea.
- 08 Some people mistake me for Igbo, but I'm not. I do have a fondness for the culture, which is why I gave myself the middle name Chukwuemeka.
- 09 Believe it or not, I weighed slightly more than my twin sister at birth. You could say I've loved food since the womb.
- 10 My mind craves musical diversity. Mozart to New Age, orchestras to Fuji, and pop music, you name it.
- 11 Salads aren't my thing and I find cucumbers a bit odd. There are some fruits I just don't get on with.
